Call Recording & Consent

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This notice supplements the Book Local Plumbers Privacy Policy. The Site is operated by Aptitude Media Inc (“Book Local Plumbers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It explains how calls placed through the Site are recorded, the consent you give when you contact us, and the privacy choices available to you — including, for California residents, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. If you need this notice in an alternative format, contact us using the methods at the bottom of this page.

Call Recording

The telephone numbers displayed on the Site are call-tracking numbers. Calls placed to or from Book Local Plumbers, including calls we connect or transfer between you and the independent plumbing service providers in our network (“Service Providers”), may be recorded and monitored for quality assurance, training, compliance, and record-keeping purposes. Where notice is required by law, you will be notified at the beginning of a recorded call. By staying on the line after such notice, you consent to the recording of the call. If you do not consent, you may hang up and contact us by U.S. mail instead.

Consent to Be Contacted

By calling a number on the Site or providing us your telephone number, you are requesting to be contacted about your plumbing service inquiry, and you agree that Book Local Plumbers and the Service Provider(s) designated to fulfill your request may call or text you at that number regarding your request, including using automated technology, even if your number is on a federal or state Do-Not-Call list. Consent to marketing calls or texts is not a condition of using the Services. Message and data rates may apply to texts.

You may revoke this consent at any time by telling the caller, replying STOP to any text message, or contacting us at 805-637-3844 or by mail at Aptitude Media Inc, 2407 S. Congress Ave., STE E-135, Austin, TX 78704. If your telephone number changes or is reassigned, please notify us promptly.

Any disclosures we provide will cover the twelve (12) month period preceding your request. We do not charge a fee to process a verifiable request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded, in which case we will explain why and provide a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not deny you services, charge you different prices, provide a different level or quality of service, or suggest that any of the foregoing may occur because you exercised your rights.
